A monster gets a makeover, Firefox wants a smaller window, and NXT has outsourced conflict resolution to a wheel. Also: a filming wrap and some ballot homework.

the monster has a character editor
Nintendo’s new Halloween guide walks through making a Frankenstein-inspired Mii in Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream, from the square jaw to the face-paint stitching. This is a seasonal how-to using the game’s existing creation tools, not a new expansion or patch. The face-paint editor even has a Pro mode, should your monster require a more competitive forehead.

firefox is making room for one more little window
After yesterday’s meme reunion, Mozilla has something more practical: an updated Firefox roadmap. Mini Window would keep a tab or part of a page floating above your other browsing; offline Android reading and on-device desktop speech recognition are also in development, not generally released features. Separately, the Smart Window beta’s new form-filling and page-watch tools are available in English in the U.S. and Canada, with page watching working only while Firefox is open. The browser may help with the busywork; it has not volunteered to stay awake after you close it.

the wheel has rejected conflict resolution
Last night’s NXT added a Weapons Wild stipulation to Myles Borne versus Tavion Heights at Halloween Havoc, with Danhausen delivering the announcement. WWE’s official clip has the reveal rather than a full evening’s recap. A wheel is an unusual mediator, but nobody invited it for its de-escalation skills.
bridgerton has finished filming the yearning
Netflix now confirms that Bridgerton season five has wrapped production outside London. Hannah Dodd and Masali Baduza lead the next season as Francesca and Michaela; the announced release year remains 2027, without an exact premiere date. Filming finished is useful news. It is not the same thing as “available this weekend,” however urgently the gowns suggest otherwise.
the ballot has homework, unfortunately
Alabama’s October 27 election reminder points voters toward registration and polling-place checks ahead of November 3. The state also has county sample ballots and explanations of the four proposed statewide constitutional amendments. Read the actual ballot before Election Day: the booth is a particularly inconvenient place to discover a paragraph you have never met.
