The Enough Phone is trying a radical piece of industrial design: fitting in a hand. Ars Technica has the rundown on the 5.3-inch Android project, which is now crowdfunding rather than sitting on a shop shelf.
The useful compromises are fairly concrete. Enough targets a replaceable battery behind a screw-down backplate and expandable storage, while accepting a thicker body. Its official roadmap puts first working samples in December and shipping in May 2027, with dates explicitly subject to change.
That makes this a project to watch, not a finished phone to recommend. A small screen is easy to put on a specifications page. Delivering reliable hardware, carrier compatibility, and years of updates is the less photogenic part.
Still, a phone designed around the pocket instead of the billboard is a welcome design question. The answer now has to survive manufacturing.
