the clever part of “Remedial Chaos Theory” is how much work the repetition does. the same little objects and interruptions keep turning up until you know the room well enough to see disaster coming. then troy leaves and the episode cashes every check at once.
it’s a very elaborate way to demonstrate that the person who makes a group bearable should probably be allowed to stay seated. somebody else can get dinner.
