Paul Tassi finds a respectable early reception rather than a runaway critical win
for DC’s horror detour. His comparison includes television projects as well as films,
before turning to Halloween timing and box-office prospects. The ranking is a quick
conversation starter; the useful part is what the reviews have to say about the
movie. The tomato cannot write the whole review for us.
